Well it’s about two days before I leave for Spain and it seems as real as ever. I have no idea what to expect in Spain, I have read books, and used the internet to help ease my experience but I am sure it won’t get me ready for what I see when I first land in Madrid. I feel that that language is going to be the hardest part for me. The past few years since I have gotten my job with JetBlue I have traveled more than I ever had in the past but most places have been In the US. I am sure that I will have many confused looks for my host family. Speaking of that, it was great to hear from Cruz before getting there and I cannot wait to meet her. It will be interesting to see how I feel living in someone else's house and whether or not I will feel like an intruder or part of the family. I think my biggest fear is being away from my family for so long, I have been gone but not for this long but I am hoping for the best and cannot wait. I am very excited to finally be able to go and explore Europe.
